Laboratory Supplies International (LSI) – the name says it all. LSI is committed to supplying laboratories in Europe with consumable goods. High quality laboratory supplies at a competitive price.
Founded in 2021 in Someren (NB), LSI recognises the potential for our products in every market segment with a clever marketing concept. High quality at high volumes. The end result is: Retail service at a wholesale price. We do this by providing excellent service with a team of account managers and sales support who are always available via telephone and who think in terms of finding solutions for the customer.
To achieve our goals, LSI has several automated production lines that keep the quality and reliability of our products at a high level at all times.

Our motivated employees draw on their extensive experience and expertise, listen to your requests, ask the right questions and proactively work with you to consider your needs and establish the best solution possible. This means that the products of LSI have an added value for the product ranges used in commercial organisations and, of course, in laboratory operations.

Socially responsible
LSI aims to keep its business operations sustainable and environmentally friendly. In our day-to-day operations, we achieve this by separating our waste flows and making them suitable for reuse.
We are also continuously improving our environmental performance. With more than 2,000 solar panels installed on the roof of our business premises, we are in a position to generate virtually all of the electricity we need. And we try to reduce our environmental impact by using as little energy from non-renewable sources as possible.
Besides caring for the environment, LSI takes its social responsibility very seriously, too. LSI demonstrates this by taking good care of its employees, by sponsoring the local community and through its involvement in global organisations and good causes. For example, LSI is the main sponsor of various local clubs and sports clubs and contributes to PlanNederland and good causes, preferring those that involve the young, elderly or people with disabilities.
CO2-beleid
Ons bedrijf heeft als doel om 10% CO2 emissiereductie te realiseren in 2027. Dit betekend dat we de komende jaren verschillende initiatieven gaan activeren om ervoor te zorgen dat commerciële ambities worden gecombineerd met nog meer duurzame ambities.
De CO2 prestatieladder
De CO2 prestatieladder helpt ons grip te krijgen op onze CO2 voetafdruk. We nemen initiatieven om onze voetafdruk kleiner en kleiner te maken. Die doen we binnen onze eigen werkprocessen en projecten. Het doel is om ten opzichte van 2022 10% CO2 emissie reductie te realiseren in 2027 in verhouding tot de omzet, waarbij het gaat om het gebruik van duurzamer energiebronnen maar ook het implementeren van maatregelen die de behoefte aan het gebruik van energie verminderen.
Onze foodprint zag er in 2022 als volgt uit:
Om onze doelstelling in 2027 te bereiken werken we volgens een zogenaamde PDCA methode. Wat betekent dat we een jaarlijkse planning hebben waarbij we monitoren of de geïmplementeerde maatregelen uit het vorige jaar het verwachte effect heeft opgeleverd en waarbij jaarlijks een nieuwe inventarisatie van energiebesparende maatregelen wordt gemaakt, beoordeeld en geïmplementeerd.
Concreet ziet dit er als volgt uit:
- We meten met behulp van objectief vastgestelde gegevens met betrekking tot ons gebruik van verschillende energiebronnen onze jaarlijkse CO2 emissie.
- We zoeken actief naar maatregelen die ons energieverbruik kunnen verminderen. Elk volgend jaar beoordelen we of de genomen maatregelen het verwachte effect op CO2 reductie hebben gehad.
- We communiceren intern en extern over de maatregelen die we nemen en de CO2 emissie reductie die we daarmee realiseren.
- We sluiten ons aan en ondersteunen initiatieven die CO2 emissie reductie verminderen in onze sector maar ook daarbuiten.
De CO2 prestatieladder van Stichting Klimaatvriendelijk Aanbesteden en Ondernemen is hierbij een doeltreffend en effectief hulpmiddel.
Op dit moment werken we aan één project met gunningvoordeel, ILOW 2021. De Co2 emissie m.b.t. dit project bedroeg in 2022 6,2 ton. De reductie doelstelling voor dit project ligt in lijn met de organisatie doelstellingen. In 2027 zal de emissie met 10% zijn teruggebracht in relatie tot de omzet.
